FASP in the heart of the electric motor
FASP capacity of innovation is born and has grown up in a highly stimulating environment from the production point of view.
From an economic and productive point of view, FASP is located in the village of Montecchio Maggiore, a highly industrialized area 15 km from Vicenza: it is the heart of the Veneto region in Northern Italy, a strategic hub for the main European roads, a crossroads of commercial and human exchanges.
In this area the concentration of over 70% of Italian electric motors producers is extraordinary: a district where specialized manufacturing industries operate in different fields of application. Within this production area, FASP has developed a lasting cooperation with a chain of local excellent partners the mechatronics sector.
Creative Genius loci: from Palladio to Tiepolo, passing through Shakespeare
FASP capacity to think about creative solutions is in the DNA of the people who have marked the place where the company was born and developed.
From a territorial point of view, Montecchio Maggiore is a characteristic village set in the Valle dell'Agno and the sweet slopes of the Berici Hills. The town is dominated by the Bellaguardia Castle and the Castle of the Villa, also called "Romeo and Juliet Castles": probably few know that the story of Romeo and Juliet, made famous by William Shakespeare, was actually written by the noble writer Luigi Da Porto from Vicenza, who set the story between the walls of the two manors of Montecchio. The village is also embellished by the splendid Villa Cordellina Lombardi, designed by the great architect Andrea Palladio, whose hall was frescoed by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, to whom are also attributed the drawings of the statues adorning the enchanting garden.
Last but not least, the food and wine offer in this area is characterized by typicality and authenticity: mostarda alla vicentina, salamis and sausages, cakes, oils and wines are some of the traditional flavors that never betray expectations.
